Yes we have to have them as lame as that seems.
And since lots of people like bitting my head off about this I needed to make a Policy to go along with the site. It isnt long it just keeps evil people away.
1. Respect = YES. Yourself. Everyone. Staff.
2. Help new members out. I cant be on all the time. Making friends keeps people on longer. And its fun.
3. Please keep the drama to a fun level. This means dont make everything a big to do.
4. Have fun mon petits.
5. Mature threads go into your private rooms with a VIABLE notification to the content (XXX).
The Policy
Give your own version of a mentally unstable person. Please make your character fun and original. Character copying will NOT be tolerated!
Concerning ownership of characters and posts. While you are a member here and while you respect everyone, everything you write belongs to you. As soon as you quit or are deleted, your posts belong to the administrators. Upon trying out you agree to this clause. Once you are deleted it is up to the whim of the staff to do with your writing as we wish, which includes but is not limited to: using your writing as an example of our forum, deleting your posts, or playing your character.
If you do not post within one week [7 days] without PM the admin or posting in the absent thread you're account will be given a warning/ frozen until you return.
Other Site Info
I am not looking for more characters, I am looking for quality characters. I have adopted a "Quality vs. Quantity" policy. I'd rather have a variety of characters who are well developed than a whole bunch of the same kind of character who are kind of developed. I like people who can bring enthusiasm and imagination to their role plays rather than the typical cold snobbish canons you see every day. Expand on your own ideas.
Character development happens along the way, as long as you have an idea what you want to do. Meaning, you may not have a clear sense of direction now of where you want to take your character, but it will happen as you post.
